When my copy of "High Desert" arrived, I imagined it was going to be a new favorite of mine. The first was the fact that the director seems to be big fan of the slow-motion feature on the editing machine. Raging Stallion's latest release is the first in a series of three features about a company of new army recruits. This installment is about the recruits' time at boot camp. The movie starts off with 3 warnings: 1.) that the purpose of boot camp is to turn men into cold-blooded killers (eek!); 2.) that they have hired real military men to star in this film (woo hoo!); and 3.) that because of graphic violence and sexual situations this film may not be suitable for all ages (well, duh!). This is followed by a very hot preview of what is to come. Raging Stallion gives you two options to view the feature. You can watch the whole movie with all of the story scenes or you can cut that out and watch just the hot army man sex that is to come. I watched the whole thing. The story starts off with a scene of the company going through a typical obstacle course and it is apparent from the very beginning that they have trouble doing this (as all new recruits do). The end of the scene is three of the recruits ragging on a fourth because he was the last to climb out of the hole at the end of the course. The first sex scene is a hot pairing of Private Roman Ragazzi and the yummy Sergeant Ricky Sinz. The sound quality and transfer of to DVD are great and the soundtrack is very good and I can't wait to see what is to come in the next two installments.
